Hello Parents!
This weekend in Youth Bible Study, we will take time to focus on the Great Commission. Have you considered Jesus’ words to us lately? Matthew 28:19-20, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” It is our joy and sober privilege to come alongside you as you are making disciples of your children. With the power of Christ within us, let us make the most of every moment and be diligent in this task together! (You’ll find the weekly family devotion down below to help!)
‘ROUND COLUMBUS DAY CORNER!
Fallapalooza –Friday, October 23rd (6:30 – 11:30 p.m. at the Xchange) This will be an amazing night for MIDDLE SCHOOL students and their friends. We’ll have a crazy night at the Xchange with food, LASER TAG inside the Tallowood Center, video games, movies, and more food. Micah will also be teaching! So bring your friends and get ready for an awesome night. Check out more info and register HERE. Registration ends October 21st.
“Kalled Kids” meeting this Sunday (11:30 a.m. in NT204) Does your student think he/she may be called to fulltime ministry? We would love to meet with them and encourage them on the journey!
Monday Night Outreach this Monday (5:00 p.m. in FHE) Any student, parent, youth worker, and especially youth council member is invited to help us serve dinner as the Student Ministry hosts Outreach Dinner on Monday. Arrive at 5:00 p.m. to get ready to serve by 5:30 p.m. Go ahead and reply so I’ll know who is coming.
Saturday night and Sunday morning Bible Study! (Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 10:15 a.m.) Seek God first in your family by making Youth Bible Study a priority! Your children are missed when they aren’t there! We begin our new REVERB curriculum this Sunday! Check out the weekly FAMILY DEVOTIONS HERE!
ReFuel & Impact COMBINE this Wednesday night (7:30 – 8:30 p.m.) Caleb Glasgow will be speaking this week and our very own Annetta Box and Camp Eagle’s Chris McWatters will be leading us in worship! It’s going to be a great night! The Xchange opens at 7:00 p.m. and we’ll move into the worship center for Bible Study at 7:30 p.m.

FreeSpace Every Thursday (3:30 – 6:00 p.m. in Xchange at Tallowood Center) This middle school outreach event is the perfect opportunity to pick up a few neighbors and classmates and bring them with you! Students love playing basketball, Wii, pool, foosball, and just hanging out! $5 dinner is also available each week!

I heard a rumor that youth will return to Israel this summer, 2010. Do you have more info?

Great question. That rumor is heading in the right direction, but not totally right. We are praying and planning so that we can take a group of high school juniors and seniors to Israel in the summer of 2011. The prospective dates are July 29 – August 6, 2011. Please pray with us about this!
