…to the Tallowood members that went on the mission trip to China. They left for China on July 24th and came back this morning at 2:30 am!!!! In China, they visited places like Bejing, where they walked the Great Wall of China; Tarpan, where they visited the ancient ruins of “Gaochang”; Urumqi City, where they went to the Orphanage/Foster Care Center and taught skills and crafts to the children. While in Urumqi City they also worked alongside orphange staff and the children doing labor like picking cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes and egg plant. Doug Cook couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing experience it was for him. God was truly with them every step of the way.
